M3 chip
Apple’s upcoming M3 chip is likely to have an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU like its predecessor, but with better performance and memory. The M3 chip is expected to power the 24-inch iMac, MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro and the upcoming slate of iPads.
M3 Pro and M3 Max chips
Multiple configurations are being tested for the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. The M3 Pro may have a 12-core CPU, 18-core GPU, and a pricier version with a 14-core CPU and 20-core GPU. The M3 Max is expected to have either 32 or 48 cores. The M3 Pro and M3 Max chips should power the new batch of MacBook Pros.
24-inch iMac
24-inch iMac Apple could refresh the 24-inch iMac with the M3 chip. Apart from the chip upgrade, not many changes are expected. So, the new 24-inch iMac should look the same as the previous one, having the same colour options as before.
